* PTE - Physically Trained Expert after Tekong
* LCP - Lowest Confident Personnel in camp due to inexperience, also known as "Lan Chao Bing"
* CPL - Cannot Play Liao because you are a senior NSF, also known as "Kao Beh Lang" as they always complain alot
* SGT - Saying Goodbye Thank you, because you are at the end of your service
* SSG - Showing Social Grace by asking people to call you staff instead of sergeant
* MSG - Must Say Good no matter what your commanders so that you get your 1st epaulette on your shoulder faster
* MWO - Must Watch Out for n00bs making mistakes and make them sign extra
* SWO - Still Waiting Orders because you are somehow still lower ranked than commissioned officers even if you have loads more experience than themOfficers
* LTA - Listening To Advice because your officer-commanding told you to do so and you cannot disobey
* CPT - Call Please Thanks, too busy with work, no time to reply
* MAJ - Must Always Joke so that people in SAFTI MI will recognise your "Leadership" and send you to command
* LTC - Later Then Confirm because you have too many meetings to attend
* COL - Content Over Leadership since you have already commanded so many people
* BG - Better (be) Gone, so that someone can replace you...
* MG - Media Glamour, especially if you are Chief of Army, pictures always taken for mass media purposes
* LG - Life's good, nowhere higher to go, nothing to do also. (Too bad Singapore do not have a 4 star general!!) Perhaps you can into Singapore administrative services, the place where you can go into politics.

Hey Delta,
just to let you know that Ferry Services for the 58th COC Grad Parade will start from 1700 hrs to 1900 hrs. the return trip will be from 2030 hrs to 2330 hrs.
pls do not attempt to walk to HQ as you'll be required to present the invitation card which i only have 1, and can only allow 2 people. haha if you take bus they won't care that's why.
attire is smart casual and try not to wear slippers.

Our part outing date still isnt settled:/
I'm not too sure about the other dates. This is just based on what you all indicated on Yee Shan's Post.
And um, I was thinking if we really cant find a suitable date where our whole part can make it, maybe we can just go ahead with the date with the most number of people who can make it and maybe those who cant make it can join us for dinner or something? If not, we can have two separate outings whereby everyone can make it for at least one? Yup. So what do you all think?- Cause i really really dont think that it's actually possible for all of us to agree on a common date:/
Shall we just make it either on 8 DEC or 9 DEC first? Cause that's the day where most people can make it so far. So yup. Tag to give your opinions okay!!:D

hey DELTA!
omg something surprising happened today.
during Dining-In today there was also the presentation of the BUC Awards for 2008.
i think Ms Poh was supposed to collect our trophy for us.
but in the end, she was underdressed! then she wasn't allowed to collect the award. then our District Commander (Capt Elizabeth) came running to me and was like, "you from Crescent right? ok i need you to collect the award for your school"
wa i was like :O
but in the end yeah all the other award winners had their teachers to collect the awards/trophies except ours hehe. ours being collected by a Cadet Officer Traineeeeee.
is that a good thing or a bad thing? haha. a member of Crescent NC Delta'09 representing the entire Crescent NC collecting the Best Girls' Unit Trophy from Chief-of-Army. (gosh, i wished the whole part could go, or even Sop/Kelly)
anyways, fyi, the trophy is in the District Commander's office now. she wanted me to bring home that huge gigantic trophy but considering my size plus i have to bring back my no.2 uniform i think she gave up haha. she says i can collect it after i pass out or something like that hahahaha.
that's about it hahaha. will post up pictures when i get them (: happy hols Delta!

omg so sorry i haven't been coming here lately and i didn't realise you guys were waiting for my answers of which dates i am free :/ was very busy for these few weeks with COC...
anyways,

You are cordially invited to the 58th Cadet Officer Course Graduation Parade where you will witness me finally passing out as a Cadet Officer after 3 weeks of training :D
It will be held at HQ NCC, Parade Square, on 11th December 2009, Friday @ 1900 hours. Yep so I really hope you all can make it! there will be a buffet after the parade, as well as a performance put up by us. Oh, and try to reach there earlier so that you all can have better seats for the parade xD and there will be shuttle bus services from YCK MRT station (:
i guess i'll also update you guys about the course up till now (:
last week was mostly lectures... so yeah nothing much haha. all the lectures about leadership thingy and stuffs. then yesterday was First Aid Course at the SAF Medical Training Institute. today was Adventure Training, where we had to go through all the stuffs we went through during Camp FEAST so as to train us to be Auxiliary Instructors for all the stations.
some interesting things that happened today..
- at the rock climbing station i was climbing at the same time as this other guy who was at the other lane. then my belayer who was some random Sir was like, "climb faster! climb faster! you beat that guy i give you a ticket to Zouk!" eventually i really finished before that guy but there was no Zouk tickets. sad life haha.
- flying fox was the best as usual, just that we couldn't run and jump. had to sit down before we 'fly' down. i told the encik that we did it before during Camp FEAST (cos i remembered SM doing it) but he claims that i must be dreaming/ i must be at another camp -.-
- paintball station was fun but painful. the game started and i just chionged to the front only to get myself hit by the pellets at the wrong part. i mean i kena hit in between the legs. ouch. so lucky i'm not a guy. and got hit on my thigh too near to the prev spot where i got hit. damn pain, now it's super red and swelling a bit. imagine immediately after that was High Elements and i had to wear a harness. when the encik tightened my harness, it was like EEEEEEIIIIIIIIOOOOOOWWWWWWW
yeah haha that's about it. oh and tomorrow we have Dining-In. have to wear No.2 uniform arghhhhhh. i can sense you people grinning and thinking "haha HC finally wear dress". sigh sigh sigh.
ok haha i'll do more updates soon when i can! yeah and i managed to do quite a good job as Company OC for the first 3 days and Course OIC for 1 and a half days, ALL THANKS TO DELTA'S ENCOURAGEMENT AND WORDS OF ADVICE! :D
